Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of a device, by enabling operation of a transverse slide mechanism only when the height of a reaping part from the agricultural land surface is equalized with the target value. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic sensor (S1) is provided in front of a reaping blade 31 under a reaping part 23 to sense the distance between the ultrasonic sensor (S1) and the agricultural land surface. If sensed data (h) by the ultrasonic sensor (S1) are smaller than the target value (H), a solenoid (SOL1) is driven to lead hydraulic coil from a pump 38 to a cylinder 36. Thereby the reaping part 23 is rocked in the direction of arrow (C) to increase the distance from the agricultural land. If the reaping height condition is established, a motor (M) is rotated by operation of a switch (SW1) to move the reaping part 23 in the transverse direction.
