Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a connecting operation and a detaching operation easy and to enhance reliability of an electrical connection by a method wherein one part of a small-sized printed wiring board is coupled elastically to a mounting opening and is mounted, connection electrodes formed on a face of a printed wiring board and a face of the small-sized printed wiring board are brought into elastic contact. CONSTITUTION:In a small-sized printed wiring board 2, a copper sheet as a conductor metal 9 is laminated on a substrate 7 having elasticity such as stainless steel via an insulating layer 8; it has a twice-folded shape; fitting and coupling parts 10 to be fitted into a mounting opening 6 in the printed wiring board 2 are installed at both end edges by a bending operation. The fitting and coupling parts 10 are fitted into the mounting opening 6; peripheral edge parts 13 on both sides of the slit-like opening 6 are fitted elastically between coupling protrusions 11 and horizontal parts 12 situated at their upper parts. A connection electrode is pressure-contacted elastically, at a part A, to a connection electrode which has been formed in a prescribed position on peripheral edge parts 13 and is composed of a conductive metal 4; a circuit on a printed wiring board 1 and a circuit on the small-sized printed wiring board 2 are firmly connected electrically.
