Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve resisting pressure intensity for slipping of a pipe and leaking of a fluid by inserting an inner pipe into a connecting pipe, holding an outer pipe to a chuck member, and assembling a spacer for engaging the inner pipe and the outer pipe at a connecting terminal to a connector. CONSTITUTION: A connector is comprised with a double pipe 1 having a flexible outer pipe 1a and a flexible inner pipe 1b, and a connector 2 having a recess bore 3 containing a chuck member 4 therein. The inner pipe 1b is inserted into a connecting pipe 5, and a fluid bed supplied through the inner pipe 1b is flowed into a fluid passage. The outer pipe 1a is held on the chuck member 4, and a fluid supplied through the outer pipe 1a is flowed into a fluid passage 7. In such a condition that a spacer 13 which has a cylinder section 13a for externally attaching to the inner pipe 1b and a cylinder section 13b for internally attaching to the outer pipe 1a, is assembled to a connecting terminal of the double pipe 1, the connecting terminal is inserted into the recess bore 3 of the connector 2. Connecting operation efficiency can be improved and resisting pressure intensity for leaking of a fluid can be enhanced thereby.
