Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a change in viscosity of viscous fluid and to improve durability by providing a mass body on a vibrator in such a manner as to displace in the vibrating direction, sealing a viscous fluid between the mass body and the vibrator and forming a layer of material having a low coefficient of friction at a contacting portion between each of the mass body and the vibrator and the viscous fluid. CONSTITUTION:An annular groove 17b is opened to the side surface of a rim portion 17 of a cam pulley 12 (vibrator). A cover member 18 for closing the opening of the groove is fixed to form a chamber 19. A covering layer 20 of fluororesin, acetal resin or the like is disposed on the wall surface of the chamber 19. The chamber 19 is filled with a viscous fluid, and a mass body 21 is accommodated in the fluid in such a manner as to float in the rotating direction, so that the fluid and the mass body form a dynamic damper 22 for a separate vibrator. Though the viscous fluid is forced to flow by its viscosity with the vibration of the mass body 21, friction is made smaller by the covering layer 20 so that the quantity of heat generated by flowing is small. Accordingly, the frictional resistance of the viscous fluid is made smaller to decrease the quantity of generated heat, so that a change in viscosity of the viscous fluid is diminished to decrease a change of property and besides, deterioration of the viscous fluid can be prevented to improve durability.
