Abstract

PURPOSE:To abate the extent of fine pressure variations in a compression space as well as to reduce a noise in a high frequency zone by installing a small hole in and around a discharge gas passage of a cylinder at an end face of a bearing supporting a main shaft, and opening a part of this small hole to the compression space or the like. CONSTITUTION:Refrigerant gas inhaled out of an inlet port 11 of a hermetically sealed vessel 1 is compressed in a compression space 7 of a cylinder 6 by rotation of a rotation piston 5 and reciprocation of a partition plate 8. Afterward, the refrigerant gas passes through a discharge port 13 installed in a lower bearing 10 by way of a discharge gas passage 12 of the cylinder 6, and discharged to the inside of a silencer 14. In this constitution aforesaid, a small hole 20 is installed in and around the discharge gas passage 12 of the cylinder 6 at and end face of the lower bearing 10. A part of this small hole 20 is opened to the inside of the compression space 7, while a position of the small hole 20 is set open all the time from start to end of a discharge stroke. The extent of fine pressure variations in the compression space is thus abated and, what is more, noise at a high frequency zone is reduced.
