CONSTITUTION:A rising part 5 of triangular section, having a ridge 5a in the bottom end part, is formed in an internal wall surface 3a of a cylinder head 3, and this rising part 5 arranges the first and second intake valves 6a, 6b in one side while a pair of exhaust valves 7 in the other side. Opening and closing the first intake port 12a by the first intake valve 6a, the first intake port 12a sets a fuel injection valve 17 so as to supply fuel in a cylinder in an opposite side to the second intake valve 6b, and a nozzle port of the fuel injection valve 17 is formed so as to be directed to a head part back surface of the first intake valve in an opposite side to the second intake valve 6b with respect to the axial line of the first intake valve 6a. While the closing timing of the second intake valve 6b is set later than the closing timing of the first intake valve 6a.
