Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the waste of the drying time of laundry, to quickly dry it and to prevent the laundry from getting wet by rain or fog by detecting the humidity, temperature and illuminance of outdoor air around the drying place of the laundry and automatically moving a clothes drying pole to the position of fetching the laundry or the position of drying it. CONSTITUTION: The wash-line pole 1 is supported by arms 2 and 3 at both ends and both arms 2 and 3 are turned between the positions A and B by fixing end parts on the opposite side of the wash-line pole 1 to the shaft of motors 6 and 7 attached to clothespoles 4 and 5 under the eaves. To the clothespole 4, a control panel 12 is attached. A humidity sensor 8, a temperature sensor 9 and an illuminance sensor 10 are attached to the positions on the outer side of the eaves and the humidity, temperature and illuminance of the outdoor air around the position A are respectively detected. A microcomputer 11 processes the data of the detected humidity, temperature and illuminance, judges that they are suitable for drying the laundry 15 and outputs activation signals for moving the wash-line pole 1 at the position B to the position A for drying the laundry to the motors 6 and 7.
