Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically open/close curtains by recovering a previously memorized shape against the energizing force of a bias spring through a thermosensitive driving member when the temperature gets higher than a set temperature. CONSTITUTION: A bias spring 14 and a thermosensitive driving member 16 serially linked while being fitted to curtain rails 18 are mutually fixed at respective opposite sides. The upper and lower sections of one edge of a curtain 12 are fixed to these linked sections and with the stretching of the bias spring 14 and the thermosensitive driving member 16, the curtain 12 is moved along the rails 18 and 18. The thermosensitive driving member 16 is made of a shape memory alloy and when the temperature inside a car is lower than the set temperature, the curtain 12 is still opened since the energizing force of the bias spring 14 is stronger but when the temperature inside the car is increased higher than the set temperature, the curtain 12 is closed by shrinking the thermosensitive driving member 16 while rolling the bias spring 14.
