Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a measuring error by the deterioration of a light emitting element or a temp. change, by controlling the quantity of the light emitted from the light emitting element so that the added output of all of the divided parts of a photodetector becomes constant. CONSTITUTION:A detection part 1 is constituted by providing an LED to the top part of a black box 2 blocking external light and mounting a printed circuit board 8 and a four-split photodiode (Pd)7 to the bottom part of said box 2 and further mounting an air bubble pipe 4 on the Pd 7. Herein, when the detection part 1 is in a horizontal state, the light of the LED 3 is blocked by an air bubble 6 to generate shades and the areas Sh1-Sh4 of said shades are equal but, when the detection part 1 is inclined, difference is generated between the areas Sh4, Sh2 and output difference is generated between the constitutional elements PdD2, D4 of the Pd 7. Therefore, by operating these outputs, the voltage proportional to the angle of inclination in an A1-axis direction and the drive current of the LED 3 is controlled so that the output sum of the PdD1-D4 constituting the Pd 7 becomes constant to reduce the possibility of generating a measuring error in spite of the deterioration of the LED 3 or a temp. change.
