Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the device compact by allowing a wire cleaning member which moves along a back plate part and cleans a discharging wire to leaves the wire at an electrifying electrode end part and serves as a lightning preventing member for the back plate part. CONSTITUTION:A motor M and a worm gear device W which is connected to the motor M are installed outside the back plate part 13. Then the motor M reverses to rotate a worm gear G counterclockwise and then the cleaning member 20 is drawn and guided to a cam groove part 14A; and a step part 21A rotates slightly along the slanting surface of the cam groove part 14A, and consequently wire cleaner parts 26A and 26B, and 26C and 26D move away from each other symmetrically to leave the discharging wire 11. The cleaning member 20 moved to the cam groove 14A, on the other hand, shields the edge part of the cam groove part 14A. Therefore, even when the edge part of the cam groove part 14A is formed very close to or overlapping with the discharging wire 11, it is shielded by an electric insulator at the time of discharging, so lightning is precluded.
