Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the continuation of production even if the sintering and molding devices of a continuous sintering and molding machine are disengaged from a production line and are repaired by installing a plurality of the above-mentioned devices to the upper chambers and side chambers of a main conveyor line. CONSTITUTION:Green compacts 20 are put via both side door chambers 3 into a heating chamber in a vacuum state in a conveyor line 1. The compacts 20 are then loaded into an induction electric furnace 7 in the upper chamber 7a by means of a rod 7c of a power cylinder 7b and are heated. After the green compacts are returned again to the conveyor 1, the compacts 20 are loaded into the upper chamber 8a by a power cylinder 8b and are subjected to a soaking treatment in a resistance electric furnace 8. The compacts 20 are again returned to the conveyor 1 upon ending of the soaking treatment and are loaded by a gripping and transferring machine 9b into a side chamber 9a in a position B. The compacts are molded by a hot press molding machine 9 in the position A. The compacts 20 are again returned to the position B and are moved through the both side door chambers 4 into a cooling machine 6 where the compacts are cooled. The plural induction electric furnace 7 and the hot press molding machines 9 which are the main stages in this mechanism are provided to facilitate the repairs.
