Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize thermal transfer printing on a ceramic sheet by forming conductive paste via the dispersion of one type of Ag, Pd, Pt and Au, or the mixed powder thereof in a vehicle composed of a resin caking body and wax having a melting point of 50 deg.C to 80 deg.C solved therein. CONSTITUTION:The powder of a metal oxide compound and glass powder are dispersed uniformly whenever necessary in the metal powder of Ag, Pd, Pt or Au, or the mixed powder thereof in a vehicle. The vehicle is composed of polyvinyl butyral or ethyl cellulose and wax having a melting point of 50 deg.C to 80 deg.C solved in a solvent like butyl carbitol. This paste 3 has a low softening point due to the inclusion of the wax. Therefore, thermal transfer printing on a ceramic raw sheet 2 becomes possible. The solvent in the paste 3 and raw sheet 2 completely volatilizes during thermocompression bonding, thereby preventing the adverse effect of the solvent and enabling the formation of a highly reliable electrode circuit 3.
