Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct a stop diameter in zooming operation without rotating a lens frame by rotating a rotary body for stopping down an aperture blade according to the movement quantity of the rotary body when the rotary body is moved in the direction of the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:A stop mechanism 7 consists of a blade case 8, the aperture blade 9, a wheel (rotary body) 10, and a C ring 11, and the wheel 10 is fitted while the stop driving pin 17 of the aperture blade 9 is fitted in the stop driving groove 18 of the wheel 10; and a gear 20 is provided to the projection on the periphery of the wheel 10 and an output bearing 24 having an output gear 23 which engages it is supported pivotally while disabled to move forth and back in the direction of the optical axis. When the lens frame 5 is moved forth in the optical axis direction in the zooming operation, the lens frame 5 does not rotate around the optical axis and the gear 20 of the wheel 10 and the output gear 23 are formed of beveled gears, so the forward movement of the lens frame 5 in the optical axis direction is converted into rotation around the optical axis for the blade case 8 to stop down the aperture blade 9. Consequently, the rotation of the lens frame is eliminated and the stop diameter is corrected.
