Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a layer of a prescribed thickness on the surface of the curved external part of a molding by deforming and holding the external part in such a manner that both side faces thereof are positioned approximately horizontally, then dropping and coating a transparent liquid resin on the external surface thereof and curing the liquid resin. The molding is then held up by supports 21, 22 in such a manner that both side edges 13, 14 are positioned approximately horizontally. The curable liquid transparent resin 20 such as liquid polyurethane constitutes the curved face from the side end to build up and coats the surface 17 of the external part at the prescribed thickness when said liquid is dropped at a prescribed rate onto the surface 17 in the longitudinal direction of the surface. The molding is put in this state into an oven, etc., and the liquid resin is cured and is stuck to the surface of the external part; thereafter, the supports 21, 22 are removed and the external part 11 is restored to the original shape.
