Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device capable of heating and sterilizing soil in a field, by setting rotary digging up blades and a thermally sterilizing device at the lower part of a running machine of self-traveling type, by digging up soil in the field, heating and sterilizing. As the running machine 1 travels on soil of a field, soil is dug up by the blades 2 and placed on a conveyor 6 of the thermally sterilizing device 3. The soil is thermally sterilized while being dropped from mesh of the conveyor 6 onto a hot plate 4 or being transferred on the conveyor 6. The soil is returned from the rear of the conveyor to the field.
