Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce cracks of a laminated ceramic capacitor and to hold the adhering strength of electrodes strong by forming electrode paste for the capacitor of base metal powder containing as a main ingredient nickel and silicide powder. CONSTITUTION:Electrode paste for a ceramic capacitor is formed of base metal power containing as a main ingredient nickel and silicide powder. The silicide powder contains at least one or more types of silicides of Ti, Co, Mo, Nb, Ta, V, Ni, W, Zr, and Fe. The base metal powder contains 70-99wt.%, and the silicide powder contains 1-30wt.%. The nickel powder content of the base metal powder and the silicide powder is 50wt.% or above. Thus, cracks in the laminated ceramic capacitor are reduced, and the adhering strength of the electrode is held strong.
