Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a winding inferiority generating ratio and to enhance an insulating property, by detecting the winding pitch of an insulating tape successively during insulating tape winding work. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus consists of an image input means (TV camera) 16, a timing signal generating means 18 and a winding pitch judge means 22. The means 22 is constituted of an input/output part 23 to which the timing signal from the sensor 21 of the means 18 is inputted, image memories 24, 25 alternately taking in the image signal from the camera 16 at each time when the signal is inputted, a memory 26 of a control program and a CPU 27 judging a winding pitch by exclusive OR operation. When insulating tapes 10, 11 are wound by a tape winding mechanism 4, the camera 16 parallelly moves while holds the relative relation to the mechanism 4 and takes the image of the part immediately before wound around a fixing element coil 14 of either one of the tapes 10, 11. Each time when the rotary phases of the parts supporting the bobbins 10a, 11a of the tapes 10, 11 reach predetermined positions, a timing signal is outputted from the means 18 and, on the basis of the image signal from the camera 16, the means 22 judges winding inferiority when the area of the winding pitch of each of the insulating tapes is shifted by a prescribed value or more.
