Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an efficiency of desulfurization by a method wherein splashed particles contained in combustion gas fed from a combustion part for performing a flowing combustion of fuel into a desulfurization part are collected. CONSTITUTION:Coal acting as fuel is fed by a supplying pipe 20 into a combustion part 18 and shows a flowing combustion with air blown up from an air chamber 16. Combustion gas ascends within a furnace body 12 and heat exchanged with a water pipe 22, and after this operation it is fed from an opening 26 into an inertia dust collecting device 28 and then some splashed particles are collected to a certain degree. The collected particles are fed from a piping 66 to a heat exchanger 69 and heat recovered and then sent to an ash processing device. In turn, the combustion gas is fed into a desulfurization part 34 and accepts a desulfurization reaction while passing through a desulfurization fluidized bed of lime supplied from a supplying pipe 36 and then passes through a first waste heat boiler 40 and a second waste heat boiler 42 in sequence, heat exchanged there and then it is retracted out of the fluidized bed boiler from a duct 46. Much volume of ashes having large diameter particles is extracted from the combustion part 18 together with the flowing medium and then it is divided into combustion ashes and the flowing medium by a separator 63b.
