Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title film being brittle and easily tearable, having excellent flexibility and being inexpensive, by preparing a film of a resin contg. a specific substance. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. is obtd. by compounding 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride paste resin, 80-250pts.wt. substance being incompatible with this resin, whose mean particle size is 10mu or less and refractive index is 1.7 or less (e.g., CaCO3) and if, necessary, 20-80pts.wt. plasticizer (e.g., dioctyl phthalate). A film is made of this compsn. by means of a sol coating method, thereby giving a transparent brittle film whose total light transmittance is 30% or more, thickness is 20-200mu tensile strength is 1.5kg/15mm or less and elongation is 30% or less.
