Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a soft capsule agent preventing mutual adhesion, by coating the surface of the soft capsule agent with a hardened vegetable oil or a sucrose fatty acid ester. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a soft capsule agent having a coating film formed by blending gelatin with glycerin and D-sorbitol as a plasticizer is coated with a hardened vegetable oil (e.g., hydrogenated soybean oil, castor oil or olive oil) or a sucrose fatty acid ester (the ratio of monoester/di- or triester of preferably 0.3-1.3). The hardened vegetable oil is preferably used as <=200 mesh powder and the amount thereof is most preferably about 0.03wt.% based on the amount of coating film agent of the soft capsule agent.
