Abstract

PURPOSE:To largely improve operability by forming an ink receiving layer formed of a material having affinity to ink on one or both side faces of a base layer containing an inside-added sizing agent. CONSTITUTION:A multilayer sheet in which a plurality of layers formed of layers each having different characteristics, made of an ink receiving layer having large affinity to ink from a base layer on one or both side faces of the base layer containing an inside-added sizing agent is formed. The base layer preferably has 75% or more of opaqueness. The ink receiving layer is formed of assistant, such as valve, filler, yield improving agent and aqueous soluble resin for finely regulating quality and productivity. The ratio of the filler to a binder and coating or impregnating amount are so considered that the specific scattering coefficient of coated or impregnated ink receiving layer becomes 500cm<2>/g or less. Particularly, when the filler is fine powder silica, 1-5g/m<2> of the silica is spread or impregnated, thereby obtaining sufficient ink absorptivity in multicolor printing and an image having extremely high recording density and high sharpness.
