Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing process of a rubber hose and reduce the manufacturing post of the same, by a method wherein a tubular net is extruded to the outside of a tubular molded form while sending the tubular molded form of the rubber hose or the intermediate product of the same into the axial direction thereof to cover the outer surface of the tubular molded form with the tubular net continuously and produce a reinforcing layer for the hose. CONSTITUTION:A rubber hose 10 consists of an inner surface rubber layer 12, a reinforcing layer 14 and an outer surface rubber layer 16. The inner surface rubber layer 12 is molded by extrusion molding by a rubber extruding machine 20 in a condition that a mandrel 18 is covered by the inner surface rubber layer 12. Successively, the tubular molded form is sent to a net extruding machine 22 and the outside thereof is covered by a net 23. In this case, the net 23 is constituted of synthetic resin fibers, such as nylon, polyester, polypropylene or the like having the size of 0.1-0.3mm, while the mesh angle of the net is 35-55 deg.. The net 23, extruded out of the extruding machine, is extended in a heating tank 24 to adhere it to the outer surface of the inner surface rubber layer 12 to form the reinforcing layer 14.
