を図ると共に基材6の表面層を低発泡にして強度
を持たせたものである。しかし乍ら、上記方法に
あつては発泡樹脂を発泡させる際の表面の冷却条
件が難しく、また発泡樹脂に添加混合される発泡
剤の添加量の調整が難しいという問題があり、し
かも製造された基材6はその表面層と中央部の発
泡倍率の差が小さく、基材6の強度も弱いという

発泡ボード7を製造するにあたつては以下のよ
うにして行うものである。まず押出成形機から第
3図のように一方の側面て円方へ湾曲させて押出
した直後の2枚の発泡樹脂板4,4を第4図のよ
うに密閉な金型5内に間隙を介して対向した状態
で挿入する。発泡樹脂板4は押出成形機内で若干
発泡し始めているが、金型5内に挿入されると金
型5の熱によつて急激に発泡するようになる。上
部の発泡樹脂板4と下部の発泡樹脂板4は同時に
発泡を開始するものであるが、夫々は発泡する際
に金型5の内壁によつて発泡が抑えられるため金
型5の内壁面側の発泡倍率は低くなり低発泡層1
を形成するものである。また第5図のように上下
部の発泡樹脂板4,4は中空部9に向かつても発
泡するが、上下部の発泡樹脂板4,4の発泡層1
0,10が第5図bのように合わさつた場合に
は、夫々の発泡層10,10は互いに発泡が抑え
られるため圧縮せられ合わさつた部分の発泡倍率
は低くなつて中段部の低発泡層2を形成するもの
である。低発泡層1,2は発泡樹脂が密に硬化し
ているため硬く曲げ強度が高く、発泡ボードの外
周部に形成されることにより発泡ボードの強度を
高めると共に発泡ボードが釘打ちされる際には釘

樹脂板の発泡が金型の内周壁面で抑えられて内周
壁面近くの発泡層が密になり、このため外周部に
低発泡層を形成することができ、また2枚の発泡
樹脂板が発泡した際に合わさる発泡拡散面の発泡
による圧縮力で、発泡拡散面の発泡が抑えられ
て、この発泡層が密になり、中段部の低発泡層を
形成することができ、発泡剤や冷却条件の調節を
することなく、その上面、下面、左右両側面及び
内部の中段部が低発泡で、上下からの曲げ荷重及
び左右からの圧縮荷重に充分に耐え得ることがで
き、床材等として使用されるのに好適な発泡ボー
