Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption by controlling a job schedule of a prescribed time for each of plural machine tools and automatically cutting off the supply of power for each machine tool when the job schedule is through with the prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:The working schedules of all machine tools 61-6n are stored in a memory 3 for the relevant day. A schedule controller 4 takes these schedule data out of the memory 3 by commands and transmits them for each machine tool via a data transmission equipment 5 for execution of an automatic working. When the schedule of the relevant day is over with each machine tool, a cut-off command of the power supply is given successively to each machine tool via the transmission equipment 5. Thus the machine tool side receives said cut-off command and actuates a power supply cut-off circuit to cut off the primary power supply for discontinuation of the machine drive. As a result, the power consumption is reduced.
