Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable preparation of a machining program in a form in which a past cutting condition is reproduced, by a method wherein, when a condition coincided with a machining condition inputted from an input part is present in a cutting condition table, based on a cutting condition in the table, a machining program is prepared. CONSTITUTION:When, after given machining on a work is completed, machining on a different work is effected, a main control part 2 urges a worker to input a machining condition, and when it is inputted, the main control part 2 forces a machining condition comparing computing part 15 to retrieve the cutting condition table CCT of a cutting condition memory 10. In case there is data which has a machining condition being partially coincided with the inputted cutting condition, a cutting condition and a machining condition, containing a cut depth, an override value, are displayed on a display part 7, and a cutting condition is outputted to a program preparing part 12. Based on a so prepared machining program PRO, a spindle control part 13 is driven to start an actual machining motion. This constitution enables preparation of a proper machining program PRO in a short time.
