Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a device which can derive an azimuth of an incoming radio wave by only catching a radio wave of one pulse after having understood a rough azimuth of the incoming radio wave by preparing plural receiving systems consisting of a feeder and a receiving machine so that catching signal levels of each different antenna can be obtained simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:Plural antennas 1a-1h having directivity in the horizontal plane are provided, and by a switching circuit 2 having switches 9a-9d, signals which the antennas 1a-1h catch separately are switched arbitrarily to plural feeders 4a, 4b and transmitted. Receivers 3a, 3b are connected to the feeders 4a, 4b. Storage circuits 7a-7p store demodulating signals from the receivers 3a, 3b through the switches 9c, 9d in response to each catching signal of the antennas 1a-1h. Subsequently, by fetching the information from the storage circuits 7a-7p by a computing element 5, an incoming azimuth of the signal which is caught by the antennas 1a-1h is calculated. These switching circuit 2, receivers 3a, 3b and storage circuits 7a-7p are all controlled by an instruction device.
