Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a high pressure rheometer whose structure and control are both simple by installing a chamber in which a passage is pierced in the center part, in a rack base, and inserting a plunger to which a pressure device for applying static pressure to a sample in this passage is coupled, into both sides of the passage, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Plungers 21, 22 which are coupled to hydraulic cylinders 25, 26 are inserted into both sides of passages 5, 6 of a chamber 1. The cylinders 25, 26 are installed in the same frame 27, and this frame 27 is attached through a linear actuator 24 for moving forward and backward in the directions of the passages 5, 6, to a rack base 23 to which the chamber 1 is attached. In such a state, to a sample which is packed to the passages 5, 6 having an orifice 11, static pressure is applied by the cylinders 25, 26 is applied.
