Abstract

The pressure limiting valve is designed to hold the output pressure constant and has a housing with inlet (12) and outlet (20) as well as a channel (16) connected to a hydraulic circuit (18). A piston (32) movable in a hollow chamber (24) has a spherical seal (42) attached to it. The piston divides the chamber into two parts (36, 38) one connected to the inlet and the other to the outlet whereby a flow is achieved between them via a limiting connection (54). The sealing sphere (42) in the chamber (36) is coupled to the inlet.
