Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the moving mechanism of a photographic head, and also, to measure the coordinate with high accuracy by projecting alternately slit beams being parallel to XZ and YZ planes, so that optical cutting plane lines made by each of them can be brought to image pickup by two TV cameras, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A slit beam switching circuit projects alternately slit beams 100-1, 100-2 from a cross slit light source. The beams 100-1, 100-2 are projected in parallel to XZ and YZ planes, respectively, in an orthogonal coordinate system. When the beams 100-1, 100-2 are being projected, an optical cutting plane line on the surface of an object is photographed by first and second TV cameras, respectively. The vertical direction (j1) of an image pickup element 1 of the first camera coincides roughly with the X direction, therefore, by allowing a camera lens to have a camera movement angle, the XZ surface can be observed in a state that there is scarcely an out-of-focus, and an optical cutting plane line image which is bright and scarcely generates a speckle can be obtained.
