Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable shortening working term by making the scope of a gas treatment smaller through connecting a unit charged with a gas in a factory with a bus container in the site and supplying an insulating gas into the container. CONSTITUTION:A container 10 and a bushing 7 are kept airtight by an O ring 11 and an insulating gas is supplied from units 3, 4 after the end of a bus- connecting work. Container 10 is provided with an ON-OFF valve 16, which is opened so that a vacuum pump in the site may draw a vacuum to evacuate the container 10. After a vacuum was drawn, the ON-OFF valve 16 is closed and connected with the ON-OFF valve 18 of the units 3, 4, and both ON-OFF valves 16, 18 are opened so that an insulating gas of the unit 3 or 4 may be supplied into the container 10. The end of a bushing, which is not connected with the unit is provided with an electric field-relieving shield and fitted with a gas cock 17 of airtight structure in order that the insulating gas is enclosed therein in the same way. Thus, a term of assembling work can be shortened because supply of insulating gas at the site is unnecessary.
