Abstract

PURPOSE:To receive an incoming call at the time of leaving a seat to other arbitrary telephone set by inserting a magnetic card to record an extension number into a telephone set and providing a means to change the contents of a number converting table of an exchange. CONSTITUTION:When a card to record an inherent extension number to a subscriber circuit part 3 is inserted into a card reading part 8 of a telephone set CT2 of a moving destination, a common control circuit 14 reads the extension number information in a card and sends it to the exchange. By the exchange, the extension number information is received by a subscriber circuit 9 and the applicable part of a number converting table 5 is changed through a common control part 4. In this condition, when the incoming call of the extension number given to the subscriber circuit part 3 is executed, the common control part 4 refers to the applicable area of the number converting table 5 and instructs the subscriber circuit part 9 to execute the incoming call. Thus, the incoming call is displayed on a telephone set main body part 7.
