Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately and rapidly set a necessary drip speed, by providing a dripping measuring/display means consisting of a sensor body faced to a drip cylinder to detect the dripping of a liquid droplet and the display body connected to the sensor body to display dripping frequency in a time unit. CONSTITUTION:A sensor body 10 is constituted by embedding a pair of a light emitting element 21 and a photodetector 22 in a frame body 20 and detects the dripping of a liquid droplet by utilizing such a phenomenon that the light 23 emitted from the light emitting element 22 is blocked by the dripped liquid droplet 8. A dripping measuring/display means 12 equipped with the sensor body 10 and a display body 11 is provided in order to automatically measure and display a drip (instillation speed), that is, the dripping frequency (interval) of the liquid droplet 8. Therefore, the dripping of the liquid droplet 8 is certainly detected by the sensor body 10 and the detection result is accurately displayed in a time unit and, therefore, there is no vagueness like the sense of a human being and a necessary drip speed can be set accurately and rapidly.
