Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply prepare a ceramic crown having high fitting accuracy and high strength within a short time, by baking a ceramic frame at temp. of 1,350 deg.C or more and forming an extrabanking part to the outer surface of the ceramic frame. CONSTITUTION:Several ten kinds of ceramic frames 5 are preliminarily formed by injection molding under high pressure so as to fit to the sizes of various teeth and subsequently baked at high temp. An abutment tooth 1 is covered with the ceramic frame 5 and a build-up part 11 is formed to the outer surface of the ceramic frame 5 regardless of the presence of the gap between the inner surface of the ceramic frame 5 and the surface of the abutment tooth 1. Pasty porcelain having wax or the like mixed therewith is thinly applied to the gap to form an inside filling part 8. The whole is baked in a furnace at about 1,000 deg.C. As mentioned above, since the ceramic frame 5 preliminarily baked at high temp. can be used, the heat shrinkage quantity generated when an extrabanking part 11 or an inside filling part 8 is baked is extremely reduced and a ceramic crown having a desired dimension and shape is easily obtained.
