Abstract

PURPOSE:To safely and rapidly observe the total digestive tract containing the large intestine without imparting a pain by providing a flexible continuous member for guiding an intestine ligament for arranging the hollow wire material for introducing and discharging water or air extended from an endoscopic apparatus to the other side of said apparatus in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:A capsule 1 is loaded with an endoscope imaging part, which is provided with an illumination light emitting end 5 and air and water introducing and discharge ends 6 in order to secure an imaging condition by a CCD sensor 4, along with the CCD sensor 4 for taking the image of the membrane (a) of a digestive tract becoming an object through transparent glass 7. A flexible continuous member 2 for guiding an intestine ligament has a soft rubber tube 2a used in the intestine ligament examination of the total digestive tract as a principle member and the wire material 8 of an electric or illumination system extended from the endoscope imaging part mounted on the capsule 1 is arranged to the soft rubber tube 2a along the interior thereof on one side thereof in the longitudinal direction. A hollow wire material 9 for introducing and discharging water or air similarly extended from the endoscope imaging part mounted on the capsule 1 is arranged to the soft rubber tube 2a along the interior thereof on the other side thereof in the longitudinal direction.
