Abstract

PURPOSE:To extend the life of a cell and facilitate the exchange work by suspending a button type cell in the box of a holder main body and opening or closing a cell circuit based on the installation height of the holder main body. CONSTITUTION:At a manufacturing plant, a button type cell 1 is installed on a printed circuit board 10 with a lower claw 26 provided on a strip type fitting piece 25 hooked on a hooking hole 12 and a cell circuit opened. When an electronic equipment is to be operated, a holder main body 20 is pushed in to hook an upper claw 27 on the hooking hole 12. A metal case 3, i.e., positive electrode, is connected to a positive electrode side contact metal 15, on the other hand, a printed circuit board side contact section 35B, i.e., negative electrode, is connected to a negative electrode side contact metal 16 to close the cell circuit. The life of the cell is thereby extended. The cell 1 is clamped by multiple elastic clamping legs 30 and suspended in the holder main body 20. The button cell 1 can be easily exchanged only by opening the clamping legs 30.
