Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately collect sample water, by immersing the liquid contact surface with the sample water of a sample collecting apparatus in high temp. water containing chromic acid to form an oxide film and suppressing the elution of the metal from the liquid contact surface to the sample water. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus is connected to a high temp. and high pressure piping 1 through which high temp. and high pressure water flows, and a base valve 3, a vacuum device 4, a cooler 5 and a flow control valve 6 are arranged to a collecting piping 2 and the valve 6 is regulated to collect sample water. The treatment by high temp. water containing chromic acid is applied to the inner surface of the piping 2 to form an oxide film. The oxide film is allowed to function as the barrier of the diffusion of a metal from a metal base material to suppress the elution of the metal by the corrosion suppressing effect of the oxide film. Therefore, accurate sample water can be obtained.
