Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the humidity of room air by at least either one of output control of heater or speed control of fan, and effectively humidify and clean the room air by continuous operation of a pump while solving hygienic problems. In this process, part of the circulated water 3 evaporates into air, which is discharged into the room from the air outlet 10 of a duct 7 by a fan 8. When a hygrometer 17 detects that the humidity of room air has increased to a predetermined level, the fan 8 is either stopped or slowed down and/or the output of a boiler 15 is reduced so that the amount of steam from the circulated water 3 may be reduced to control the humidification of room air.
