Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an increase in an extrusion rate and to contrive improvements in the extension of durable life of a die and a quality of a mold ing material, by a method wherein an ultrasonic oscillation is applied to the die and resin or rubber is extruded while the excitation of the same is being performed. CONSTITUTION:An end part of an extrusion machine 1 is fitted with a die 2 through a vibration-proof material 3, a molding hole 4 which corresponds to a cross-sectional form of a molding material is bored into the die 2, an ultrasonic oscillator 5 is inserted into the backside and a back die 7 is connected with the back of the die 2 through a vibration-proof material 6. With this con struction, as resin or a rubber material pressurized and extruded abuts against the die 2 which is performing an ultrasonic oscillation, the oscillation is transmit ted efficiently and the same is extruded while oscillating. Therefore, extrusion resistance of the resin or the rubber material passing through the molding hole 4 of the die 2 is mitigated, extrusion properties are improved, an extrusion rate can be increased, wear of the die is relieved, while the forms are removed through oscillation and surface quality is improved.
