Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent any possibility that a connecting terminal is deformed and an electric circuit is short-circuited by attaching a slidable cover to an opening of an end connection installed in a body, and energizing it in the closing direction by a spring all the time. CONSTITUTION:When a battery case 12 is attached to a cassette player body 11, a terminal cover 14 is slid against energizing force of a spring 17 by what an oblique guide 16a formed in a connecting claw 16 is engaged with a guide 14b formed in the terminal cover 14, and the connecting claw 16 is thus engaged with a connecting hole 13. The battery case 12 is attached to the body 11 with a fixing claw 19 engaged with a mounting hole 9. A connecting terminal in the cassette player body is thus covered with the terminal cover 14, whereby deformation in the connecting terminal and a short in an electric circuit both are preventable.
