Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an application agent, readily applicable to mucosal and dermal surfaces in a wet state and having water resistance, by laminating a layer containing a water-insoluble polymer on a layer containing a polymer, rich in hydrophilicity and having tackiness. CONSTITUTION:A medical application agent obtained by laminated the first ingredient layer consisting of a polymer (A) which is a (co)polymer, containing >=40wt.% alkyl (meth)acrylate, soluble in alcohols and insoluble in water and a polymer (B) which is a resin, consisting of a cellulose ether (e.g. hydroxypropyl cellulose) and soluble in alcohols and water at 3:7-9:1 weight ratio on the second ingredient layer, consisting of >=10wt.% polymer (B) and a polymer [e.g. poly(meth)acrylic acid], compatible with the polymer (B), having viscoelastic properties in a water absorbing state and capable of bonding to the surface of an object for bonding wetted with water.
