Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled manicure readily relesable without requiring a solvent to be removed, obtained by blending a vinyl acetate type polymer emulsion with an acrylic polymer microemulsion having a specific emulsion particle diameter in a specified weight ratio.
CONSTITUTION: A vinyl acetate type polymer emulsion consisting of vinyl acetate homopolymer and/or vinyl acetate copolymer is blended with an acrylic polymer microemulsion having an emulsion particle diameter not more than 0.05mic on average in a solid component ratio by wt. of the former to the latter 3:7W7:3, to give a release type manicure having merits, e.g., neither causing pressing feeling to the nails nor producing a solvent smell in application, consisting of a mixed polymer emulsion. An amount of the monomer to be copolymerized with vinyl monomer should not exceed 30wt% based on total vinyl acetate amount in vinyl acetate type monomer. The absence of a surface active agent is preferable and a plasticizer is not required at all.
