Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit the clearance of cutting section to be minimized and prevent burs from occurring, by a method wherein at least one of edges is made of plastics. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition of compression molding, a molding space 8, having a predetermined configuration shown by two-dotted chain lines, is formed between a fixed mold 1 and a movable mold 2. Edge members 4, made of plastics, are provided at the periphery of the molding space 3 of the fixed mold 1 while the outside surfaces of the edge members 4 and the upper end crest lines of the same constitute fixed edges 4a. Projecting sections 5 are formed at the periphery of the molding space 3 of the movable mold 2 while the inside surface of the projecting sections 5 and the crest lines at the lower ends thereof constitute movable edges 5a. Cutting sections are constituted of the fixed edges 4a and the movable edges 5a, operating in conjunction with each other. When the edge 5a, made of a steel, is interferred by the edge 4a, made of plastics, the plastic side is cut off, therefore, biting will never be caused such as in a case between steel edges. As a result, the clearance between cutting sections may be reduced sufficiently to a degree that burs due to cutting will never be produced.
