Abstract

PURPOSE: To dynamically counterbalance a first connecting rod, a connecting member and a blade reciprocating in the vertical direction, by providing a pivoted link which cooperates with a second connecting rod and a third connecting rod to reciprocate a balance weight along a bow-shaped path. CONSTITUTION: A pair of almost the same balance weights 58 made of passive loads are supported by the second and third connecting rods 52, 54 and a link 60. One end of this link 60 is pivotted to a connecting rod pin 56, and the other end thereof is supported rockably around a pivot axis 62. This pivot axis 62 is separated form an axis of a crankshaft 42, and fixed to the axis of the crankshaft 42. These connecting rods 52, 54 and the crank 60 are reciprocated in the direction opposite the direction of blade movement in response to the rotation of the crankshaft 42, for dynamically counterbalancing a first connecting rod, a connecting member 28 and a blade in the cutting work of a stacked body.
