CONSTITUTION:From mechanically detailed data, preset in a setter part 10, of a rotary cutter, that is, from a rotor peripheral length, cutting angle, maximum peripheral speed, maximum acceleration and deceleration rate and ratio of acceleration rate/deceleration rate of a rotor, setting a cutting size, a CPU 11 calculates a minimum acceleration and deceleration rate of the rotor in accordance with a sheet running speed detected by a detecting circuit 22.
