Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable continuous treatment of feeding grains, dipping treatment and discharging work and improve operability at a low cost, by feeding grains and water in given amounts to a dipping tank, allowing both to stand for a given time and forcibly discharging both. CONSTITUTION:Grains, such as rice subjected to polishing and washing treatment, are initially fed through a lift 6 into a dipping tank 1. On the other hand, water is also fed into the above-mentioned dipping tank 1. The quantity of the grains and water level are then sensed with a rice quantity sensor 12 and a float sensor 13 to stop the feed of the grains and water at respective quantities. After the grains and water are then allowed to stand for a given time, a rice cooking command signal is then inputted to forcibly discharge the grains in the dipping tank 1 from a discharge port 8 to the side of a cooking device 5. Thereby the continuous dipping of the grains can be carried out in spite of the small-sized apparatus.
