Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a linear substance of an excellent mechanical strength and flexibility as well as to make the process easier, by filling a superconductive ceramics material of a hard processing property in a glass tube, and processing it forming from the particle condition to a linear form directly. CONSTITUTION:After mixing the materials, a compression, a formation, a preliminary sintering, and a crushing processes are applied to obtain a ceramics powder of a desired composite oxides. The resultant ceramics powder obtained in such a way is filled in a glass tube 2, and the glass tube 2 filled with the ceramics powder 1 is arranged in a heating and melting device 4 which furnishes a heater 3 for melting the ceramics powder. The ceramics powder 1 and the glass tube 2 are heated by the heater 3 for melting the ceramics powder, and the ceramics powder 1 is melted and spun. The ceramics powder 1 can be molten at a temperature lower than that to melt the glass tube 2. By making the glass exercise a pulling force, and spinning through the aperture of the heating and melting device 4, a superconductive ceramics linear substance 8 in which the superconductive ceramics 6 is covered with the glass 7 can be obtained.
