Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the orientability of a liquid crystal polymer by adding polyether oil to the specific liquid crystal polymer and molding a separating pawl. CONSTITUTION:The titled separating pawl is produced by adding the polyether oil to the thermotropic liquid crystal polymer (A) which exhibits anisotropy at the time of melting. The polymer A is preferably the polymer consisting of the repeating units expressed by the formulas I-III (where n is 0 or 1). The separating pawl is formed by injection molding of the compsn. which consists of the above-mentioned two components and is added with a wear resistance improving agent and reinforcing material, etc. Since the fluctuation in the development of the self-intensifying characteristic by orientation of the polymer A is decreased according to this compsn. and, therefore, the dimensional accuracy and thermal deformation resistance of the pawl tip are improved.
