Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the firing performance by a pair of rail bodies made of a conductive material is arranged on both sides of a bore with a circular cross section and a pair of insulating bodies on both sides of the bore perpendicularly to the rail bodies to be bonded on the rail bodies. CONSTITUTION: A pair of insulating materials 1, for example, made of epoxy are arranged vertically on both sides of a bore 3 and rails 2 comprising a conductive material such as copper are arranged horizontally facing each other with the bore 3 therebetween perpendicularly to the insulating materials. Both surfaces of the rails 2 are insulated by an insulating material 4 and the insulating materials 1 and 4 and the rails 2 are surrounded by an upper reinforcing plate 5, a side reinforcing plate 6 and a lower reinforcing plate 7 to be fixed by bolts 8. Contact part of the insulating material 1 and the rail 2 is bonded with an adhesive to be made completely airtight. With such an arrangement, the bore 3 can be kept at a higher accuracy to match the diameter of a bombshell thereby improving the firing performance.
