Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the compactness and high performance of an integral dry type flyback transformer and to enhance the safety thereof by entirely insulating it with rubberlike substance crosslinked at special liquid 1,4 polybutadiene oligomer. CONSTITUTION:Liquid 1,4 polybutadiene oligomer having hydroxyl groups at both ends of its molecule is crosslinked in isocyanates to form telechelic rubber having large molecule weight of urethane bond to thereby entirely insulate the flyback transformer with the rubber. A red phosphorus-hydrated alumina is added as a flame resistant agnet to the liquid polybutadiene to form the rubber in flame resistant material. In that case, acrylic and/or metacrylic acid ester is added as a low viscosity compound obtained by copolymerizing with the pendant double bond of the polybutadiene to lower its viscosity so as to easily load it in the mold.
