Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit the regulation of blow-off air speed by the arbitrary distribution of the flow rate of air, by a method wherein blow-off airflow is distributed to a front air blow-off port and a lower surface air blow-off port with an arbitrary ratio while a flow rate distributing vane, changing the area of the passage of air variably by the swinging of the vane, is provided. CONSTITUTION:When ah airflow rate distributing vane 11, whose both ends are held by a vane mounting unit 13, is pivoted by a motor through a connecting rod 16 to position the vane with respect to a front surface air blow-off port 3 and a lower surface air blow-off port 4, air-conditioning air W, sent from a fan through a heat exchanger 6 in accordance with the position of the vane 11, is distributed to respective blow-off ports 3, 4. When a spring 21 consisting of a shape memory alloy is conducted to heat it, the blades 11a, 11a of the airflow rate distributing vane 11 are pivoted upwardly while the blades are pivoted downwardly by a bias spring 25 when the conduction is stopped whereby the area of passages to both blow-off ports 3, 4 are increased or decreased and the flow speeds of air may be controlled. According to this method, room temperature distribution may be improved.
